Belisa Adriana Camacho is a visual artist working primarily with video, photography, and installation. She draws ideas from her life experience as a queer Latina to reexamine her relationship to family, society, and community. She utilizes visual motifs to recontextualize her own upbringing and place in her family. She documents herself confronting familial conflict to create a visual space for reflection and personal growth for herself and the viewer.

She graduated from the University of Arizona with a BFA in Studio Art with a focus in Photography, Video, and Imaging. She is based in Tucson, AZ where she is continuing her pursuit of introspective inquiry through lens based media.

Belisa takes commission work as a portrait photographer for individuals, groups, and weddings.
